First of all for $1699 a night, it should be luxurious and worth every penny. Save yourself a lot of money and go somewhere else. It's been a week now, and we're still waiting. He was told someone would call him the next day. My husband also complained about all those issues when we checked out. It was hard not to see that as a complete and utter rip-off. They crammed the kids in the very small kids' club, offering limited activities and serving them mini boxes of cereals, lukewarm scrambled eggs and cookies for dinner.

In what 5-star hotel charging that kind of prices does that happen? On New Year's Eve, they also charged CRAZY prices per child for what was supposed to be a very special kids' night out. I was told there was no way around the wait. It took forever for someone to come and see me, and no solution was offered. After several meals like this, I was told one morning there was a 35-minute wait to get a table for breakfast. The 2 restaurants we ate at, Breeze Ocean Kitchen and Polpo (ex Temple Orange) had super average and overpriced food that took 45 minutes to 1 hour to ever get to us. The beach is pretty but it's very complicated to get beach chairs. And staff in general is super nice throughout the resort, but they're completely overwhelmed/understaffed and unable to do their job properly. Only true positive of our stay was the Club staff on the 4th floor of the main tower: Philip, Myrna, Khadija and Kingsland were fantastic, doing everything they could to facilitate our stay. We came as an extended family of 8 adults and 8 children, staying in 4 Club-level overpriced suites.
